How to solve "Phone not registered on network" in Samsung Galaxy S3?

+3 votes

What if the error message "Phone not registered on the network" shows up when you try to make a call from your Samsung Galaxy S3? This problem will come even when trying to send message (I mean not able to send message/access data/make voice calls etc).

How to resolve this issue, without reinstalling software, flashing it, changing the SIM card etc? Any easy fix to solve this problem?

This is the common problem in some Galaxy S3, and there are 2 options to solve this:

  1. Turn off your phone, Remove SIM card, turn on your phone and again turn off, insert SIM card and now turn on your handset.
  2. Change the Mobile network mode to GSM/WCDMA (Auto) - Go to settings > more settings > mobile networks > network mode and make changes. I mean make it to automatic. (You may also try changing to other option and after few seconds change back to automatic mode.

In your Phone: Go to settings<more settings<mobile networks- then touch the option network operators to scan the available networks in your area, wait for some moment, let your phone scan, a list of available networks in your area will appear then, select the network name of your service provider to register it and you are done. You can restart fore more efficient use then.
